What it's in for you?
At In-Car Digital (former Infotainment) department we are currently looking for Experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team. At In-Car Digital, we are working with Continuous Integration (CI) to provide quick and continuous feedback to development teams and visualize the health of In-Car Digital solution as well as testing the complete infotainment system to make sure our SW releases - that will reach our customer's cars - have the premium quality the customers deserve. This is done through test automation, effective testing methods, joy and passion. We also work with SW release where we are packaging our trains complete SW packages before integration in the complete electrical system.
As Test Automation Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled agile team which has a good mix of nationality, gender, age and experience. Here you will have the opportunity to learn and develop for every sprint. There are no limits when it comes to how much there is to learn and daily you will run into new challenges.

What you will do
As Test Automation Engineer, you, together with other colleagues will perform high quality functional and non-functional tests to increase the confidence of software. You will:
• Ensure optimal test coverage at solution level.
• Use exploratory testing to widen the scope of test coverage to ensure high quality user experience.
• Create and execute automated test cases.
• Provide better visualization of test results and a better solution baseline every day.
Do you fit the profile?
We are now looking for professionals, who enjoy working within software development and have a genuine interest in cars and infotainment. We see that you at least have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and have experience of test automation principles. You are proficient in Python and are experienced working with CAPL, CANoe/CANalyzer and/or Wireshark. You are fluent in English (both written and spoken). You also have automotive Basetech competence in Diagnose, LVDS, FlexRay, Ethernet, CAN, LIN. You have a driver's license "B", valid in EU.
It is meritorious if you have a background in infotainment, if you have experience from Volvo Cars SW-handling process. Experience form continuous Integration and DevOps as well as experience from analysing complex logs including automated verdict setting based on logs are also beneficial for this role.
