Insights from the Team
At Workshop Operation we are in charge of maintaining and building our prototype vehicles and work closely with a lot of other teams in the company. Our area of responsibility includes updating SW, troubleshooting, and fixing a large number of different practical issues.
We are now looking for a colleague that is open minded and a true team player with a well-developed can-do attitude.
Your mission & day-to-day tasks
No two days are alike but here are some examples of what might cross your professional path!
• Configure and update the logging equipment in the vehicles.
• Vehicle diagnosis (OBD-II), debug bus communications.
• Fault tracing in built in equipment.
• On field vehicle support
• Setup, commission, calibrate and update the vehicle's sensors and sensor prototypes.
• Mechanical work on the vehicle interior/exterior, like assembling vehicle trim/bumpers/wheels
• Replacing sensors (camera, radar, lidar)
• Keep track of material!
Your background and experience
We think that you are a Technician or Engineer from the areas Electrical, Mechanical and/or Software with practical skills and some years of experience. You have an eagerness to learn and like to take own initiatives. The team is to a large extent self-managing and to be a suitably team member you need to be flexible, social and feel ownership of your day to day work. All in all a good team player!
