Are you an Experienced System Tester with an interest or experience in Test Management or as a team lead? Do you have curiosity about learning and exploring non-functional system characteristics and consider yourself a phenomenal troubleshooting skill?

We are looking for a talent to join our system test team responsible for the non-functional testing of several products' part of Ericsson Business Support System (BSS). Non-functional in our context refers to verifying installation, upgrade, maintainability, and the documentation of the production in these areas. But also, to explore its performance, dimensioning and stability.
As Cloud Native and CI/CD principles transform the Software Industry it also transforms the role of a system tester. Tasks earlier performed manually gradually becomes automated and instead new technologies, tools, and skills are to be mastered. You will participate in the automation in different ways. Run, monitor and evaluate the results but also improve and evolve the automation programmatically as well as configurative.
It is a distributed team with close collaboration between colleagues in Chennai India and Karlskrona. You will join the members in the appealing city Karlskrona, just by the border of an archipelago with 600 islands. We believe testing is about having the right mentality! But there are some key abilities to become successful in the role. A good technical foundation, as new tools and technologies are to be conquered. Curiosity about testing methodology and Software Craftmanship as we practice both manual and non-functional testing as well as contribute to its automation. Great troubleshooting abilities as we see it becoming more sophisticated which makes the value of phenomenal trouble-shooters even greater. To handle your work tasks as efficient as possible, you should feel comfortable working independently, take your own initiative and lead both yourself and others.
What you will do
Join a team with the member in both Karlskrona and Chennai, India.
Focus on non-functional testing and be the gatekeeper for our customer deliveries.
Test analysis, test case development and execution (manually as well as automated), sophisticated troubleshooting, system integration, verification of customer use cases, and product documentation
Support customer engagement by supplying with the extensive knowledge of Ericsson's BEAM-based BSS system which you will get an opportunity to build up competence.
Act as a technical owner for non-functional domains or scout in new areas to be explored.
Contribute and drive continuous improvements of testing methodology or the non-functional domains in which you will become our Champion.
You will bring
Master's or Bachelor 's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Understanding of Test Methodology and Test Automation
Experience in Linux environments and tools like Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm files etc.
Python skills
Quick learning abilities, curiosity about learning and exploring non-functional system characteristics, and last but not the least phenomenal troubleshooting skills.
Meriting if have experience in Ericsson BEAM-based Business Support Solutions, virtualization, or cloud environments.
