hela Sverige Development Unit (DU) Core & IMS is an R&D organization within Business Unit Networks that secures the development of leading-edge core network products (Mobile, Wireline, IMS, User Management), as well as securing technology and architecture evolution of existing network solutions.
DU Core & IMS is providing our customer Circuit Switched and IP Multimedia networks solutions that promote our customers' business growth by enabling them to offer superior services at competitive cost. We develop Core products and solutions.
We are currently looking for system developers with focus on system areas such as characteristics, upgrade and installation for the IMS nodes SBG and MTAS, which are two of our products.

Job description:
You will work in all different aspects of the System developer role, including making analysis of requirements, perform architectural design, drive changes and improvements within your assigned system area.
We are using agile ways of working, which means that we are working with SCRUM in cross functional teams. The teams consist of SW developers, system management, design and testing.
The work includes:
• Performing pre-study work; requirements, feature analysis and breakdown including time estimations.Act as feature design owner towards the development teams. As feature design owner you will be supporting the team in requirement breakdown and understanding as well as prioritize the work
• Writing development related documentation .Participating in development of processes and tools.
Qualifications
To be a successful candidate you;
• Have a Master degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent
• Have at least 5 years relevant experience within system development within telecommunication
• Have a genuine passion for system architecture and are interested in all aspects of the SW development area
• Want to solve problems as they arise and have a genuine technical interest in understanding the systems requirements and the end to end perspective.
Your English is fluent and you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a pragmatic, people and solution oriented person with experience from working in an international organization.
Additional merits:
• Experience from cross functional team work, preferably Agile/SCRUM teams
• Experience of multimedia, 3GPP IMS, VoIP or protocols like SIP, TCP/IP, Diameter, IPv6/v4, H.248
• Experience of development in Erlang and C++
