Are you an experienced Software Engineer who is committed to develop high technology products for the harshest environment and contribute to business success? Would you like to be a part of one of the leading suppliers worldwide of ruggedized electronics?
Your role
We are now looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our engineering team of Saab Tactical Electronics AB. We have a broad product family and your competence as well as your drive will let us decide together how to best utilize your skills. We work in small agile teams that delivers to several projects in parallel.
Examples of areas for your role:
* Image processing and Computer vision
* Driver development
* MCU code development
* Test automation setups
* Security solutions and network routing
* Visionary early prototyping of applications
* Etc.
You will become a part of our strong engineering team consisting of all technical disciplines required to enable a fully in-house product development at Saab Tactical Electronics AB.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced SW developer who is a creative team player, committed to develop robust solutions. To mention some desirable areas of expertise; C/C++, Python, USB, I2C, EDID, BIOS, Linux, Android, MilCAN, OpenCV and Open GL.
We value innovative and creative ideas as we constantly need to develop our products to keep our position as a leading supplier of rugged electronics. We also value a mindset where the technical solution meets the requirements within the project frame of delivering on time and cost.
We expect you to be positive, always focus on the possibilities and have the ability to spread your enthusiasm within your team.
To be a member of our team, you need to be inspired and like the challenge by a complex environment in continuous movement with high tech products and multiple projects running in parallel.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written, is mandatory.
What you will be a part of
Saab Tactical Electronics AB develops and supports wearable and vehicle-based advanced electronics for demanding environments on international markets.
You will work within the Product Area Communication and Vetronics Solutions, which is responsible for developing, manufacturing and selling computer and video systems for vehicles and handheld soldier systems.
Operations include system integration, development of embedded computer systems and customer support in areas such as computer technology, advanced video transmission, displays and sensor integration.
You will become a part of our strong engineering team consisting of all technical disciplines required to enable a fully in-house product development here at Saab Tactical Electronics AB.
