Are you a change-maker?
We are looking for Experienced Developers to strengthen our Baseband Infrastructure (BBI) development. BBI provides execution environment, tools, and high level programming model for our many-core platform. This is the foundation for Ericsson fifth generation mobile systems (5G) but also part of the 4G, 3G and 2G systems. You will be part of a high performing development team and create a large contact network within both SW and HW development.
We are strengthening several areas and you will contribute in one of the following teams:
The team developing the new build system for our baseband application. This will be based on an open source solution and tailored to our proprietary HW architecture. You are also expected to contribute and commit related updates in adjacent and affected areas such as the LLVM compiler and the in house developed kernel.
The team developing a debugger used for the Ericsson many-core platform. The debugger is based on the Open Source project GDB and tailored to our needs. It is part of the IDE for Ericsson base band SW development. You will mainly work with C and C++ but also in Python and Java.
The team developing the execution environment, i.e. the kernel SW and boot and control functions in the system. The kernel is an in house developed RTOS tailored for the many-core platform and enables concurrent applications to make full use of the massively parallel HW. The kernel SW is mainly developed in C and the control logic in C++.

Responsibilities & Tasks:
Design, test, deploy, maintain and refactor code
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Excellent knowledge in general purpose programming languages such as C/C++, Java and Python
Excellent knowledge in Linux environments
MSc level in Computer Science or equivalent level of knowledge
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
5-10 years of experience in advanced programming
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience from working in a git/gerrit based development flow
Experience from work in a CI based development environment using e.g. jenkins or similar.
Experience from working with open source based build systems such as bazel, cmake, bitbake or similar.
Experience from programming of embedded systems
Experience in debugger technologies
Experience working with open-source SW components and tools
