Software Test/Verification for Business Communication Suite (BCS) within Feature Development Center 2, Product Development Unit (PDU) Converged Core.

Job Description:

PDU Converged Core is a PDU within Devlopment Unit Core and IMS (DUCI) within Business Unit Networks. The PDU is responsible for Converged Core Network Solutions and products, which includes IMS.

The PDU consists of over 1100 employees and is a global organization with main governance in Sweden and with operations in Sweden, Hungary, China and Canada.

BCS (Business Communication Suite) is a comprehensive solution for enterprise communications.

BCS consists of five complementary applications:

• BCS Business Voice
• BCS Mobility
• BCS Collaboration & Clients
• BCS Conferencing
• BCS Connect

The responsibility of the development team is to develop Ericsson Business Communication Suite (BCS), which currently is based on multi-node features based on incoming requirements and verified in a multi-node environment.

There are currently 4 BCS teams 2 BCS development units in FDC2. The vision for the unit is that they are competence centers able to develop all type of features for BCS, the software is developed in a efficient way based on Lean and Agile principles leading Ericsson into the future business.

We are currently looking for 1 experienced software test/verification engineer for the BCS solution with proven track records of being team players building strong and highly empowered teams - to achieve the PDU objectives.

As a software tester you are open minded and self motivated. You like challenges in your daily work, drives to solve problems and expand your knowledge. As a member of the BCS development team we expect you to take the lead to drive test activities of features/nodes within BCS.
