RISE is currently engaged in several digitalization projects and RISE is now gathering strength. We are looking for software developers to help in our projects. We have open positions in Hudiksvall, Sundsvall, Kista and Västerås.
About the role
In this role, you will work with programming and algorithmic methods as tools to improve and put together the latest research in AI and IoT for application in cyber-physical systems and edge computing. Our works take place in collaboration with industry, public sector and academia. We do software development according to carefully developed processes, structures and standards. Using an agile way of working, we work iteratively with continuous deliveries. We work closely with both the client and the rest of the team, where we quickly make adjustments according to changing requirements.
With automated testing and release processes, we always strive to work as efficiently as possible. In this role, you will work in a team that has overall responsibility for several applied digitalization projects. You will also conduct research in collaboration with other research groups and partners. The team's focus is value-creating digitalization of new data and developing new innovative new data-driven insights and application functions to the customer's needs. You will also take part in the design and development of digitalization solutions and work with hypothesis trials, prototypes, Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVP).
Who are you?
You have expertise and experience of a variety of technologies and platforms that are updated depending on needs and problems. The ideal candidate for this position have a university degree in computer science/computer engineering with a few years of work experience in software development. Preferably, this includes having worked with the latest technologies in software development and various digitalization technologies in different application areas. Excellent communication skills in English is a requirement, which is crucial to success in the team.
It is considered a merit if you have experience with:
- CI/CD, DevOps, Python, .NET, C#
- The entire development process, i.e. Full-stack development from back-end to user-interface development.
- Direct contact with customers.
- Communication skills in Swedish
