You will be part of an organization called BID Test Environment Design & Operations(BID TE D&O).
BIDs mission is an engineering environment that provides best in class time-to-market and cost efficiency, with excellent quality.
This will be achieved by enabling flow and transparency, enhance collaboration with aligned ways of working as well as reducing cost through infrastructure sharing.
BID TE D&O is responsible for realization of new technology to build and share test environments used by DNEW product development.
BID TE D&O is also responsible for test environment infrastructure, the availability of the test environment and various operational aspects related to test environment.
As a IT Infra Architect your responsibility and tasks include:
• Work with other Architects within EE Infrastructure to provide a working engineering environment
• Participate in DNEW Architecture Board and perform reviews or hold presentations
• Drive development of services needed by customers
• Drive development of supporting services needed to provide a stable and efficient environment, e.g. automation, monitoring, measurements, chat ops etc.
• Collect requirements from DNEW towards Engineering Services Infrastructure, Platform, Cloud and Service areas
• Review roadmap from Engineering Services and provide feedback on IPP, OA and pre-studies and approve them
• Work with SPM's in Engineering Services and other stakeholders like BDGS to agree on priorities between different items
• Participate in workshops and studies driven by Engineering Services
Key Qualifications:
• Education: Bsc in IT, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
• 5 years of experience
• A good understanding of product development practices in general and DNEW product development in particular
• A good understanding of service design and operations
• A good understanding of how Ericssons RnD environments are developed, built and operated
• Very good communication skills
• Very good collaboration skills
• Good presentation skills
• Structured
• Innovating, adapting and responding to change
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
Other Qualifications:
A good technical understanding and interest in:
• "Cloud" computing - virtualization, containers, serverless computing etc
• Analytics, Machine Learning and Big Data
• Storage - file, object and block
• Network
• IT Security
• Performance measurements and benchmarking
• New and coming technology
