hela Sverige The world is changing rapidly and the demand for environmentally friendly engines and vehicles is constantly growing. For many years, Scania has been a leading developer of products in this segment and our objective is to accelerate the transition to sustainable transport systems. We are now in the process of developing the world's most sustainable transport solutions and we cannot achieve our goal without exhaust aftertreatment systems. Exhaust aftertreatment plays a central part in all our engine projects and therefore this area is of utmost importance in ensuring that Scania can develop the world's best and, above all, cleanest drivelines.
We want to change the world - do you?
About us
The Engine Aftertreatment Control software group (NEFF) currently consists of 16 people who are responsible for the functionality of our catalytic converters and particulate filters. The group's work involves the regulation and diagnostics of exhaust aftertreament systems in all Scania's drivelines and engine projects. All Scania's driveline software is developed in-house and, for this reason, the work is very varied and requires good cooperation skills throughout the entire development chain.
Your role
In the role of software architect, you will work with experienced software developers, both within the group and across the whole company. You will focus on developing our overall software architecture. This will include investigating, designing and implementing technical solutions and concepts for the system and being involved in establishing the framework for the entire group.
An important aspect of the job also involves playing an active part in developing working methods and tools to support our long-term goals. As an architect, you have a strategically important role in a creative and dynamic work environment.
Your profile
You are an engineer in the field of data engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, engineering physics or the equivalent. Previous experience of integrated systems is a requirement, together with a knowledge of Simulink and C programming.
You enjoy problem solving and thinking creatively. You are inspired by "the impossible" and always want to try to find the best and most effective solution. You have good communication skills and good spoken and written Swedish and English.
Are you a senior developer with experience of integrated software? Do you have the ability to identify or create structures in complex contexts? Then you're the person we're looking for!
As software is usually tested in the vehicle, it is a bonus to have a category B driving licence for cars and also a category C driving licence or advanced driver training. If you do not have a category C licence, but do have a car licence, you will be given the opportunity to take the category C licence during working hours.
We offer
As well as offering our employees career and development opportunities, we also provide other benefits, such as a company car, results bonus, company pension, flexible working hours, subsidised canteen and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service, the Scania Jobexpress, between Stockholm and Södertälje.
