We are looking for RF ASIC designers. We develop RF ASICs for Radio Base Stations for GSM/WCDMA/LTE and for new standards as they develop.
Typically our designs are on the edge of what the semiconductor technology is capable of, resulting in demanding design and layout phases in our projects.
When working with RF ASIC design in our group, you will be part of all phases in RF ASIC development, ranging from specification of the device, through prestudy, actual electrical design work, and layout. While samples are being produced by external foundry suppliers, you will be involved in design of the RF ASIC level test board, and then, when samples arrive, you perform verification measurements, and trouble shooting, should this be necessary. As an RF ASIC designer you will also be involved in the industrialization of the circuit, meaning that you will produce a production test specification as well as assist in tester development and debugging. Although there are engineers within the organization focusing on reliability, they will also need you assistance in defining pre-conditioning and test limits for the reliability qualification activities.
In short: RF ASIC design in our group is more than 'just' RF ASIC design.
This position is located in Kista and occasional travel may be requested.
Qualifications
RF ASIC design experience
RF design knowledge
Understanding of semiconductor device physics
Radio architecture knowledge
Knowledge of Microwave "phenomena"
