The baseband infrastructure (BBI) is the foundation for an efficient 5G baseband application development and helps secure Ericsson's technology leadership in 5G development.
The BBI organisation in Lund is currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented embedded real-time software developer. The teamis diverse and provides opportunities to develop your skills on a wide front helping you keep up to date with real-time embedded multi-core technology and modern software development practices.
The team strives to work across several technical domains like the multicore abstraction layer (baseband application programming model), the communication stack, high level equipment management functions, system observability, the DSP debugger and the DSP aplication software test framework. This provides an exciting ground for your professional development.
All the BBI SW is continuously integrated, tested and qualified automatically in an efficient countinous integration machinery. This gives you more time for fun development. Our sw development organisation is founded on Agile principles and our development teams are highly empowered. Empowering the teams to make as many decisions as close to the team as possible enables you to develop code faster and better.

Research, Radio ASIC (analog and digital) design and development, Energy Efficiency, System and Technology to explore and prototype new ideas, Baseband 5G features development

Key qualifications:
• Experience/knowledge in multi-core real time software design.
- Good knowledge in C/C++, linux development environment, shell scripting. Python. perl, Java are also desirable.
- Knowledge in GIT, Gerrit and Jenkins
- Some experience qith large project development organisation
- Good understanding of CPU architecture and some knowledge of digital electronics
• MSc level in a computer science or equivalent.
- Min 5 years of experience and demonstrated ability to understand and develop software for multi-core embedded systems
- Fluency in English
