Position Description
Are you a person with a passion for purchasing activities? Would you like to apply your skills to enhance our competiveness even more? We design embedded electronics ranging from encapsulated circuit boards to advanced moving precision mechanics including state-of-the-art sensors and electronics but production is outsourced. This means that purchasing and other supply chain activities play a vital role in our business.
Responsibilities
Together with a college you will be driving our purchasing activities with focus on our subcontractors and production partners who manufacture our products. As an operative purchaser, you will be in contact with all parts of the company and with the technologies and products we develop. You will participate in and drive activities such as monitoring and evaluate existing suppliers, finding new supplier and prepare sourcing decisions, manage commercial negations and agreements and ensure cost efficiency by participation at an early stage in the product development process.
Required skills
We recruit for attitude and train for skills. With this being a more senior position, you are however probably already experienced with working with purchasing activities and handling commercial setups with large multinational subcontractors. Your experience and passion for purchasing activities allows you to work independently to a large extent. If you do not have all prereqs in place, please convince us about your potential to acquire the skills and be prepared to back up your statements with previous achievements. As a person, you are a team player with strong personal commitment and a will to share responsibilities. You constantly challenge assumptions and strive to improve everything you do. You have the courage to respectfully disagree and are prepared to back your position with evidence. You have no trouble working in both English and Swedish environments.
