ÅF has more than 1 500 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.
We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to our Propulsion and Energy Management team. As an Integration Engineer you will lead and coordinate all engineering work related to the vehicle system area of your specialty, both with the OEM as well as with the suppliers. You are responsible of delivering critical data to the program on time, meeting key technical and commercial targets. You have good knowledge of engine integration and are considered experienced in one or more of the areas engines, cooling systems, propulsion controls, transmissions, electric motors, or batteries.
The Propulsion and Energy Management team comprises simulation of performance and energy consumption, integration of powertrain components and systems, calibration, and testing/validation of powertrains in-vehicle. Our strength is our good teamwork and long experience in complete vehicle development. You will mainly be placed in Trollhättan, but there are also possibilities to work on site at our customers in Sweden or abroad.
Who are you?
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Physics Engineering
At least 3 years of automotive engineering work experience at OEM or Tier1 supplier
Expertise in powertrain integration
MATLAB/Simulink skills is meritorious
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Driver license
