Role description:
The department for "Customer Solutions" is looking for a Project Manager for aftermarket projects. Customer Solutions is globally responsible for the
Aftermarket sub projects of the company's NPD projects (New Product
Development) projects such as, Product Platform projects and Technology
Platform projects.
The main role is to plan and manage the aftermarket
activities in NPD projects in tight collaboration with Technology,
operations, Sales & Marketing and Regions. This challenging role will also
involve leading and participation in the development and implementation of
global work patterns in co-operation with the other project managers in our
team and other stakeholders in the aftermarket projects.
The Aftermarket resources for these projects are mainly located in Eskilstuna and Braås. This means that travelling may be needed and that you need to have European driving license for car.
Your responsibilities include:
Plan, lead and follow-up the Aftermarket project team to secure aftermarket support and products linked to New Product Development projects
Secure that Aftermarket needs and requirements are gathered and feed into NPD projects
Process improvements in project management
Ensure that Aftermarket project targets are set and met
Involve Aftermarket line organization from early project
phases to project completion. Projects are using the company Global Development
Process (GDP)
Pro-active management of deviations
Participate in platform projects forum
Point of contact between Aftermarket, Platform Projects and
Regions linked to NPD
Develop a network within Sales & Marketing, Technology, Operations and Regions
Requirements
To be a successfull candidate you need to have minimum 5 years of documented experience as a project manager. You also need technical knowledge in relevant fields and proven leadership capabilities. Furthermoere you must have ability
to lead global, multicultural and cross-functional teams and be strongly goal
oriented with focus on results. Pro-active mindset and excellent problem
solving skills and communication skills are needed and you must be Organized and structured.
A university degree is needed in Engineering or other relevant field and fluent in written and spoken English is a must.
