About the job
ÅF has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry, whereof more than 300 have at least 12 years automotive experience. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.
To strengthen our Interior team, we are looking for Project Engineers with experience from vehicle development within the area of Interior Systems. You have a background with project work within automotive interior development. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for all deliveries regarding implementation of new or modified systems in production. You will be working with both conceptual and detailed design and will lead the cross functional engineering team's work, including Design-, Validation- and Simulation engineers as well as suppliers, to optimize the design and to fulfil the vehicle requirements on time.
Who are you?
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years work experience at Automotive OEM or Tier 1
• Experience from interior system development and design
• Exeperience/understanding of design work in NX and systems that handle drawings and 3D-models is meritorious
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Driver license
As person you should have excellent project leadership skills, work with a solution and result driven approach and have very good communication skills.
