We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer who will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in PHP development, particularly with frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, and also have experience or a strong interest in DevOps, and has potentially worked with Jenkins, AWS, Docker, and Terraform. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and work on innovative projects that have a significant impact.
The position is open to candidates who will work at our hybrid office-remote workplace in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation is not offered for this role.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
Improve existing functionality and implement new innovations across our products.
Utilise automation tools like Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform to streamline development workflows and enhance the Software Development Life-Cycle.
Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS, leveraging services like EC2 and S3.
Continuously improve and champion DevOps practices within the team.
Who you are
We're looking for someone with a passion for innovation, who thrives in a collaborative environment, and has the technical skills to back it up. You're a natural problem-solver, proactive, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Here's what we're looking for:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development, with hands-on expertise in frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
Strong familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Hands-on experience (or a strong interest) with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue.js is a bonus).
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Organisational prowess and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for aviation or a willingness to dive into the world of flight tracking.
