A chance to join a growing and innovative Swedish Drug Discovery company !
About Red Glead Discovery
The purpose of Red Glead Discovery is to contribute to better health. Being experts in drug discovery, we help our clients to develop novel and innovative lead series and clinical candidates. Red Glead Discovery has a strong drive to become one of the leaders in the development of sustainable drug discovery services, and we aim to be the provider of choice for biotech and pharmaceutical companies on the Nordic market.
We are currently nearly 60 people, located at Medicon Village in Lund.
About the position
We are now looking for a motivated and experienced NMR spectroscopist to strengthen and complement our small NMR team. The team currently manage two 500 MHz and one 400 MHz spectrometer.
At Red Glead Discovery, you will have the possibility to play a vital role in a rapidly growing multidisciplinary company. You will contribute with your scientific and technical competence, and you will also have the chance to participate in developing the company and to help us match the current and future needs of our clients.
What you do
In this NMR spectroscopist role, you will work with colleagues, partners, and clients in drug discovery and development projects - often in global settings. The work comprise support to chemistry and integrated drug discovery projects as well as performance of stand-alone projects within the NMR team, including practical laboratory work. In addition, you will work with maintenance and development of our walk-up systems and other NMR infrastructure.
What you need
A genuine interest of NMR spectroscopy! Besides that, you must have at least 3 years' experience of solution NMR spectroscopy including hands-on knowledge of structure elucidation of organic molecules and/or biomolecules. You should be able to set up 1D and 2D NMR experiments independently and safely on Bruker spectrometers. Any experience of implementation and modification of pulse sequence as well as working knowledge of NMR hardware is highly advantageous. We believe that you have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent, including courses covering NMR theory.
You are confident in written and oral communication in English and can maintain trustworthy and efficient interactions with colleagues and clients to be able to deliver according to agreed timelines and standards. Knowledge in Swedish is advantageous but not an absolute requirement. As the demands and tasks are diverse with respect to problem, timelines, and level of detail, you need to be service-minded, flexible, and collaborative.
Previous experience of protein or peptide NMR is highly advantageous for the position as is any experience of industrial drug development.
You will be offered
A pleasant work environment where we daily collaborate between R&D functions in various projects. We are non-prestigious with co-workers of mixed ages and nationalities represented.
A workplace where collaboration and aspiration are important and rewarded.
An international environment with opportunities to develop both professionally and on a personal level, and where we are focused on delivering.

If you feel that you match this role, we would love to see your application! We are also curious to hear what you can add besides what we believe is necessary to succeed in this role. Describe in your application your strengths and please give concrete examples what you have contributed with in your previous roles.
