We are now looking for a skilled software tester to join our passionate test organization. Our test teams are responsible for securing the software quality of Ericsson's world-leading microwave mobile backhaul products. The main activities are requirement analysis, test case design, test, integration, product lifecycle management and documentation.
As part of the Ericsson Radio system, MINI-LINK is a powerful and cost-efficient network node fulfilling the requirements of the mobile broadband evolution, including 5G. You will have the opportunity to be innovative every day and broaden your skills to meet the fast pace of the telecom industry in an inspiring working environment.
You will be part of an organization that works with agile methodology in a multi-site and diverse verification team. Our Continuous Integration and Verification teams drive the quality assurance of the Network products from integration to test including early deployment in customer networks around the world.
What you will do
Understand business requirements and can transform them into tests and test activities
Design and perform both automated and manual test execution and report test results
Conduct troubleshooting activities
Create and maintain existing automation test cases using Java
Initiate and drive improvements in ways of working and in our test product
You will bring
Must have:
BSc level education in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
Minimum of 3 years' experience Software development or product verification
Solid grasp in TCP/IP and routing (L2/L3)
Solid Unix/Linux knowledge
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
MINI-LINK competence with in-depth knowledge in Radio Link area
Test Automation experience with good programming and scripting skills
Lean & Agile knowledge or practices
