Headquarted in Hilleroed, Denmark, FOSS is an international family-owned company providing analytical equipment that helps to improve production processes and product quality in food, agricultural and other industries. FOSS has since 2012 strategically focused NIR Technologies to the Höganäs site were both Production and R&D is managed. We are now looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to the R&D team.
The Job
FOSS has a vacant position for an experienced Mechanical Engineer at R&D in Höganäs. The selected candidate will work with mechanical design in our future analytical instruments. In order to secure top performance and stay in the lead we must have a clear focus and dedication to the performance of the whole system. You will be working with the latest technologies in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with external partners when needed. The job will be very free and we greatly encourage own initiatives and drive.
Qualifications
• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5-10 years experience in the Industry
• Experience with the CAD tool Inventor
• Experience with temperature and vibration simulations in opto-mechanical constructions and tolerance analysis is useful, as well as a passionate interest in understanding the complexity of the whole system
• Result oriented - enjoys getting things done!
• Good at cross-functional cooperation - you are a team player
• Good knowledge in English, but also good understanding of either Swedish or Danish would be an advantage
