Job Description
With a focus on strategy and process we are now looking for an experienced Head of Offshore Delivery to lead our development, and to strengthen our future and growing demands to deliver on offshore clients. You will in this role set our objectives, principles and structures regarding offshore delivery. You will report directly to the Group Management Team and your stakeholders will be found in our global organisation and support all of AFRY.
The position is located in Solna, Sweden. Full-time employment.
Your key responsibilities include:
Build up project for near- and offshore capacities
Responsible for building and operating delivery centers (engineering centers, design centers and software development centers etc)
Responsible for driving the use of offshore delivery capacity across all of AFRY
Identify appropriate locations to host a near- or offshore centers
Develop governance framework for near- and offshore work
Develop organisational processes and best practices to ensure successful offshoring of work (hiring, training, staffing, quality controls etc)
Develop efficient processes for using offshore centers for different types of work and projects
Management of near- and offshore delivery centers
Support offshore center management in growing the centers organically
Continuously improve near- and offshore delivery processes to meet client teams demands
Drive the increase in usage of offshore centers
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the person we are looking for has
A University degree in for the role adequate program
Senior experience in building and managing near- or offshore delivery organisations
Preferably experience from offshoring of engineering service, alternatively other services like IT or BPO
Strong client focus and results orientation
Deep understanding of offshore delivery and ability to set the processes and strategic direction, establishing objectives- both near- and longterm.
Strong management skills to drive change, discussions and processes in a line organisation
Business and financial acumen to manage and reach set financial project targets
We work both nationally and internationally, the role requires that you have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
Culturally aware - be confident to deal with various nationalities, show understanding and leadership in dealing with cultural differences
