Experienced Garment Tech Manager
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Garment Tech Manager with genuine interest in managing and developing people.
Do you have an interest and skills in pattern making, construction, and how to set up standards in the development process? At NA-KD we are passionate about fashion and our customers, and are looking for an equally passionate Garment Tech Manager to join our team in Gothenburg. On a daily basis, you will lead the garment tech team app 10 people and collaborate with different parts of our business, especially our Purchasing and Design department - you will help to ensure that we follow best practice and always strive to find the best solution for our products.

The successful candidate is experienced and enjoys developing people and leading a team. Beside that the ideal candidate needs to be able to have a good overview and manage multiple things at the same time.
Position is key role in our product organization and will report to Chief Supply Chain Officer
Your Future
• Applying best practice in the GT team and coordinating with different parts of our business to secure unified results.
• Developing processes and secure implementation of our PLM system
• Having overall responsibility for the development of garments, standards and secure implementation with both team and external partners
• Liaising with buyers and designers and adapting designs to suit production methods
• Organizing and supporting the workflow of the direct team, recruitment of new team members, performance, and salary reviews
• Guiding the team to deliver best value products towards our customers
• Participating in creating a scalable and effectively functioning Garment Technician department together with Garment Tech Manager Co-Lab
• Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product
Your Past & Your Skills
• Essential with strong people skills and experience from managing team
• Education in fashion/textile design, pattern making, or have been working in a similar role
• Experience in grading of measurement lists and an understanding of manufacturing, textiles, and garment construction, is a plus if you have experience in pattern making
• Computer- and excel skills, it is also a plus if you have experience in Illustrator
• Organized and good prioritization skills
• Confident and clear communication skills to work productively alongside other product teams and external suppliers
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
