At Driveline, we work in agile teams where we take ownership of functional changes from idea to working feature in the truck. Our transmission software is developed in-house, and the team is set up in a cross functional way where system, function design, software implementation, test, calibration, and verification of our product are all within the team's responsibility and control.
We believe that teamwork and collaboration is the foundation for great products and an attractive workplace. Every team plan their work according to agile principles and delivers solution together as a team. We mostly use graphical programming tools such as Simulink or ASCET so that we can focus on the products we develop. However, we would like to broaden the competence base in the teams so skills in other languages such as C, C++ etc.

About the role
As a Function Developer in the Clutch and Shifting Controls team you will contribute towards the complete technical solutions in our product. Shifting based on request from the strategy part of the software, clutch control during launch, interface towards the rest of the truck, diagnostic monitoring and routines are all examples of features that will be developed and maintained by the team you will join. Daily work consists of infrastructure- and model based embedded software development where testing, documentation and verification are included in every task. Final verification is done by the team in trucks where your contribution is also requested.
