We are looking for an additional team member to join our cloud journey, moving on prem solutions to AWS and with the latest technologies we are making sure it's safe for the driver and eliminating the environmental impact. We work very tight together in an agile way, focusing on knowledge sharing and innovation.
What to expect
We are responsible for an in-house solution that manages software updates for almost all Scania products - trucks, buses, industrial and marine engines, used by approximately 1600 workshops around the world. Our application is business critical and there is a lot of focus on the quality of the code, useability, security and performance.
We are a curious and empowered agile team of 6 team members. Pair programming, code reviews, demos and sometimes tests are examples of the tasks we usually do. Our system has many integrations with other systems at Scania and is mainly developed in AngularJS/Angular and .NET framework C#, with some components already transferred to AWS using CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda (TypeScript) and Gitlab for CI/CD.
What you bring
In order to succeed in this role, you need at least 3 years of experience and knowledge of the following:
• .NET Core or .NET Framework, C#
• SQL (T-SQL) and NoSQL
• Angular / TypeScript
• REST
• Git and/or Gitlab
• AWS
Also have general knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns and unit tests. You have a degree in IT, or equivalent experience, and are fluent in English.
You are a true team player- focusing on common goals, have an open mindset and strong curiosity to learn new things and find new ways of solving problems and you know how to organize your own work to meet set targets. You appreciate constant exchange of knowledge and seek constant improvement.
