Iconovo is a world leading developer of complete Dry Powder Inhalation products. We are looking for an Experienced Formulation Scientist to strengthen and further develop our team within Pharmaceutical Development. The Pharmaceutical Development team work with pharmaceutical formulation projects in late development phase in close collaboration with colleagues in device development and analytical development.

What will you be doing?
As a Formulation Scientist you will be working cross-functionally with formulation and pharmaceutical development in project form. You will be part of the Pharmaceutical Development team as well as a member of different cross-functional project teams. You will be given the freedom to independently conduct complex and explorative research including planning, design of experiments, evaluation of results and problem solving. You will develop formulations in small scale that can be scaled up to industrial scale. You will independently be conducting tech transfer, produce internal and external reports and you will be expected to present results to colleagues and customers. We also expect you to have the experience and confidence to lead and inspire your colleagues to further scientific development, as well as improved ways of working. Monitoring of technical development within filling, formulation, trends, and news within the pharmaceutical area is also a part of the role.
Who are we looking for?
On the formal side, you have an academic degree within Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or similar discipline, e.g., chemistry. To become our future star, we think that you have a deep knowledge within formulation development with several years of experience within pharmaceutical development and large-scale production of formulations. You also have experience working within inhalation and/or nasal products. You understand how the different areas of development impact each other when developing an inhaled or nasal product. You have worked with scale-up of processes before and you have a long experience in cross-functional work. If you have knowledge in spray drying, that is a great advantage. You are also curious, eager to learn and to share your learnings with your colleagues. A collaborative spirit and a willingness to be flexible and help when needed is necessary aspect of being a part of the Iconovo team. You are fluent in English, oral and written and proficient in Office 365.
