experienced engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering, specialized in Automation and Process Control, who would like to work with both local and international investment projects from start to finish. We have many large, technical and complex projects ahead of us with focus on safety, environment and energy. This is what makes the job fun!
We are looking for you who
have a number of years of experience from Automation, preferably from the process industry, and who function well in the role as project leader. You hold a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with specialization within Automation and Process Control or similar.
Cooperation on an international level with suppliers and subsidiaries requires you having excellent English skills in speech and writing. Good ability to collaborate and being creative are also other important personal skills. You possess a broad technical knowledge and would like to continue your development. You are, within in your field of expertise, familiar with the relevant EU Directives and the in Europe commonly used standards.
About the position
Höganäs produces iron and metal powders used in electrical products, automotive components and windmills - as well as for purification of water and soil. Höganäs has 2,300 engaged colleagues in 17 countries.
You will form part of a happy team engineers possessing high competence within Automation and Process Control, driving projects around the world.
The department Global Technology, where you will be based, gathers our core competence within Electrical Engineering. The department supports worldwide the various sites with project execution and implementation. Global Technology is therefore the hub for technical competence, knowledge and development.
We are looking for a person who can help us on our journey of change with clarification of values and implementation of Lean.
As an experienced engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering specialized in Automation and Process Control you will mainly be working with the design of electrical and automation systems. The work will be performed at Höganäs' process lines in Höganäs and in Halmstad and at our sites around the world. Travel abroad may occur. A driver's license is required.
You follow the projects from feasibility studies to completion and handover of process lines. The work areas include project management, design of electrical drive systems and heating systems as well as instrumentation, process control systems, programming and commissioning. Knowledge and experience from industrial IT systems and process control is a plus. Höganäs mainly uses ABB 800xA as automation platform.
