At Axis we are now looking for Mechatronics engineer with ambition to develop future drive systems for Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras. Come join us at our HQ in Lund, Sweden!

Our mechanical engineering team is composed of engineers with diverse backgrounds and interests. We are fundamentally generalists who have developed expertise in various directions based on our interests and knowledge. What you will do here as Mechatronics Engineer?
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing our most advanced remotely controlled cameras, engineered to thrive in the harshest conditions worldwide. Collaborating closely with our specialists, your primary focus will be on developing and constructing drive systems that enable precise remote control of our cameras. You will follow your product from its initial concept through to its market release, offering you a unique chance to comprehend the bigger picture and evolve as an engineer. In addition to design work, you will build and test your products to validate your theories. Throughout the development process, you will work closely with electronics, software, and various internal functions, including testing, quality, and production.
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
Are you driven by the desire to challenge conventional wisdom and create innovative products? Do you find inspiration in participating in product development from the initial concept through to the factory, where you can hold the mass-produced product in your hand? If so, we believe you will excel as a Mechatronics Engineer working on Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras at Axis.
We'd love to hear that you have experience within:
* Mechatronics
* Design and dimensioning of stepper motor-driven systems or other electric servo drive systems
* Transmissions
* Precision mechanics
* Mass production
* Proficiency in 3D-CAD (we use Creo)
