www.thermofisher.comWE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED ENGINEER FOR OUR PRODUCT PROCESS DEVELOPMENT UNIT AT ALLERGON, SITUATED IN ÄNGELHOLM, SWEDEN
Allergon is part of Thermo Fisher's Immuno Diagnostic Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics. At the Allergon site in Ängelholm we are approximately 50 people who work together to provide the IDD Headquarters in Uppsala with quality source materials and scientific support for their allergy diagnostic business. As a world leading producer of allergenic source material we also work with external healthcare customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The focus in this role will be on process and product development, both improving current ones and developing new ones.
• The work will be varied and often project based with a focus on strong teamwork.
• This industry is heavily regulated so you will be expected to follow GMP, industry regulations and work closely with Quality Assurance
• You will work with a wide range of people within the company as well as with external customers or suppliers.
WHAT EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• You will have a university degree and ideally a PhD in the life science area such as biotechnology, fermentation, pharma, microbiology or something similar.
• This role will suit someone who enjoys having a wide range of ongoing projects and responsibilities and is good at appreciating the full picture.
• A minimum of 5 years industrial experience from a similar production environment is required
• GMP knowledge, including changes and validation, is important for this role
• Experience of project management is preferred
• We are looking for someone who is a practical solution seeker and who is capable of multitasking and who is good at prioritizing and organizing their work
• You should be a peoples' person, with solid communication skills
• As a person you are sociable, creative and energetic
• We hope that you work as well independently as you do in a group and that you enjoy working cross-functionally within a company.
• Ideally you speak fluent Swedish and English.
