Ergonomidesign is one of the world?s top-ranking and most award-winning design agencies. We are expanding and are looking for a new colleague to help us further our success.
We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of our Interaction Design Team and be responsible for delivering all digital visual aspects of the interactive space, starting with ideation and concepts and leading it all the way to finalized graphics, time-based experiences, effects and animations.
You will participate in our ever changing projects with clients worldwide from a wide variety of industries; ranging from mobile services to medical applications; from games to situation awareness and advanced information visualizations. The solutions developed span across all platforms, varying from the smallest of handheld devices to mobiles, tablets and large multi touch screens. In our often convergent projects you will work in close cooperation within all of the various disciplines of Ergonomidesign, including e.g. human factors, product design, service design and strategy design. We are now looking for a colleague with passion for creating exciting user experiences and expressing interactions in visual form, pushing the boundaries of what is possible. You need to understand the complexity and challenges of interaction design and how to create clear and compelling user interfaces in digital media and environments.
We expect you to have a solid education in graphic design or likewise, and several years of work experience within digital graphic design for the interactive space. Your experience should cover everything from icons and layout to the temporal and ephemeral in time-based media. You should also be able to document your work in e.g. prototypes and guidelines, and work closely with e.g. software development in iterative processes through implementation. You should be a talented and skilled designer as well as energetic and creative. You need to be a devoted team worker and able to understand and cooperate across multiple disciplines and backgrounds. You are experienced at working closely together with interaction designers and software developers. All candidates need to have at least 3-4 years of relevant professional experience and be able to demonstrate their skills through an online portfolio or similar also showing your role in the project and your parts of the results. They also need to be fluent in English, both written and verbal. International experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Candidates needs to be fluent in using tools like the Adobe Suite, including time-based software like Flash, After Effects or similar. An experience in Microsoft Expression Studio is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
