The Semcon CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) department is where the overall computational competence within the Swedish part of the Semcon group is located. We are professional consultants, working in different constellations such as; in projects, as specialists, at customer locations and in-house.We offer various calculation skills, project management and expertise in the areas of Structural Calculation, Rigid Body Dynamics, Sound & Vibration, Safety and Fluid Mechanics. In Sweden, we are more than 50 skilled engineers located at six different sites in Sweden (Gothenburg, Stockholm, Jönköping, Linköping, Lund and Västerås). We work in close cooperation with the global Semcon Group and together we are around 230 calculation engineers.

Available openings:
FEM-Specialist within turbine calculations
Core Engine calculation/simulation within gas- /steam turbines. Stationed in Linköping/Sweden. More than two years' experience of turbine calculations and knowledge within ABAQUS is mandatory.
FEM-Specialist within turbine calculations
Core Engine calculation/simulation within aerospace. Stationed in Gothenburg/Sweden. More than two years' experience of turbine calculations and knowledge within ANSYS and ANSA is mandatory.
FEM-specialist within aerospace
Hull- and system strength calculation/simulation. Stationed in Linköping/Sweden. More than two years' experience from aero plane calculations is mandatory.
FEM-specialist within Offshore
Various strength and durability calculation/simulation within the offshore branch. Stationed in Gothenburg/Sweden. More than two years' experience of offshore calculations and knowledge in SESAM/ANSYS is mandatory.
FEM-specialist within Offshore - Norway
Various strength and durability calculation/simulation within the offshore industry. Stationed in Norway. More than two years' experience of offshore calculations and knowledge in SESAM/ANSYS is mandatory.
FEM-specialist within Crash simulations
Automotive Crash calculation/simulation. Stationed in Gothenburg or Trollhättan, Sweden. More than two years' experience of crash simulations and knowledge in PAMCRASH is mandatory.
FEM-specialist within MBS simulations
Automotive MBS calculation/simulation. Stationed in Stockholm, Sweden. More than two years' experience of MBS simulations and knowledge in ADAMS/CAR is mandatory.
