Job description:
You will work in all different aspects of the SW developer role, including making analysis of requirements, perform SW design, SW implementation, and to execute related test activities. You will be part of a dynamic development team. The team is responsible for all development phases from pre-study to development including test and delivery.
We are using agile ways of working, which means that we are working with SCRUM in cross functional teams. The teams consist of SW developers, system management, design and testing.
The work includes:
• Performing pre-study work; requirements, feature analysis and breakdown including time estimations
• Implementation (coding) of SW for new features in the product (CSCF).
• Implementing automated test cases and executing tests in SW development related test activities, including unit and function test
• Writing development related documentation
• Participating in development of processes and tools.
Qualifications
To be a successful candidate you;
• Have a Master degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent and relevant experience in software development
• Have advanced programming experience in C++
• Are experienced in SW development related testing
• Have a genuine passion for SW development and you are interested in all aspects of the SW development area
• Want to solve problems as they arise and have a genuine technical interest in understanding the systems requirements and the end to end perspective.
Your English is fluent and you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a pragmatic, people and solution oriented person with experience from working in an international organization.
Additional merits:
• Experience from working with Perl, Shellscript or Python
• Experience from cross functional team work, preferably Agile/SCRUM teams
• Experience of multimedia, 3GPP IMS, VoIP or protocols like SIP, TCP/IP, Diameter, IPv6/v4, H.323, H.248
• Experience of development in Linux environment
• Experience of SW revision handling systems like Clearcase.
