hela Sverige Do you want to work with developing the integrated circuits that are an essential foundation for our product portfolio? We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our ASIC verification team in Lund, Sweden.
Axis has a long history of developing integrated circuits for our products. The series of ARTPEC chips are a cornerstone in most Axis products. This article describes the history of ARTPEC up to the 7th generation:

The ASIC Verification Team
The ASIC verification team is responsible for verifying the ARTPEC ASICs on IP, subsystem, and SoC levels. Much focus is on IP level verification of our in-house developed IPs. We use simulation as well as formal methods, whichever fits best for the problem at hand. In particular, we make extensive use of SystemVerilog, UVM, and functional coverage.
What will you do?
Our verification environments are quite elaborate, so developing and maintaining them requires a good understanding of digital hardware as well as software engineering principles. Debugging and identifying potential problems in the hardware design is also a fundamental part of the job.
The team is relatively small, and you will have the possibility to work with a wide variety of different tasks. In addition, as we work with agile methods, you will be part of a group that collaborates closely to achieve our goals. As a team member, you will have ample opportunities to learn and grow in a creative environment.
We emphasize continuous improvement for the individual and the team as a whole. Part of this requires continuously following new developments in ASIC verification since this field continues to develop quite rapidly. Thus work tasks may include investigating new verification technologies or evaluating new tools. There are also opportunities to write papers and present at international conferences.
Our in-house developed hardware often implements functions such as image processing, video compression, and computer vision. As a verification engineer, you will also have the opportunity to learn about these algorithms.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced engineer with an aptitude for problem-solving and a talent for programming.
Prior experience in hardware verification, particularly with SystemVerilog and UVM, is an advantage. However, we will also consider candidates with a genuine interest in ASIC verification and experience in related areas, such as low-level embedded programming.
