hela Sverige Small but rapidly growing company in Stockholm, Sweden, seeks to hire an accountant with 8-10+ years of experience with diverse and advanced accounting skills. As the UK holding company is about to list on the AIM market the person should have thorough knowledge of IFRS and Swedish Accounting standards when it comes to bookkeeping and payroll management. Experience from "Big4" type work would be a plus.
This position assumes strong knowledge and skills in group accounting (more than one legal entity in one or more countries), group consolidations and handling of inter-company transactions. We expect that the accounting will be performed in such a way to enable the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Accountant Job Duties:
To keep the group records, support the CFO in running the Finance and Accounting Function by researching and analysing accounting data and preparing reports for management:
• Monthly and quarterly closing
• Group Consolidation.
• Journal entries (General ledger)
• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
• Intercompany transactions
• Reconciliations
• VAT reporting
• Payroll
• Cash Flow Forecasting and optimization
• Revenue and Expense recognition: Book all contracted income/expense items to system and periodization the entries to match income to expenses over time.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows) and Semi-Annual and Annual Reports.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
We believe, based on last year accounting, that the "core" of the role is roughly half time, but we still seek to establish a full time role as we can offer the right person opportunities to be involved also in structuring improvements in finance and business control.
Qualifications:
• University education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and Swedish Accounting Standards, VAT & Tax regulations (extended Nordic a plus)
• Proficient in performing the job duties above.

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both in speaking and writing.
