At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. On a mission to soundtrack the world, we are constantly increasing and improving our portfolio of global products where the common denominator is our music. Growing our organization we are now looking for an Experience Design Lead to drive user centric design processes and ensure high quality of design delivery across the domain's multiple product teams. Reporting to the Design Director, Core domain, the position is located at our HQ in Stockholm.
How you will make an impact
As an Experience Design Lead, you will drive impact in collaboration with a range of different stakeholders across product teams, in design, tech, product, brand, and other departments. Ultimately responsible for alignment across different touchpoints in the user experience.
What you will do
• Work with the end-to-end user experience across organizational groups as a facilitator and design leader, driving alignment between product teams.
• Shape and contribute to product strategy, seeing it through all the way from insights to implementation
• Drive the design process from planning and scoping, to execution and delivery
• Work with explorative research and user insights, converting them into concrete design outcomes
• Work with and drive customer journey creation, concept development, prototyping and co-creative workshops
Who you are We believe you are a seasoned design leader with a track record of delivering truly user centric product experiences. You act as an expert in design processes and methodologies from research to ideation, prototyping, and implementation. Furthermore, you're a clear and confident communicator who is comfortable with visual storytelling, creative facilitation and presentation. Last but not least, you are an inspiring, strategic collaborator who loves working with others and connecting the dots.
We believe you have:
• Experience in proactively seeking and solving complex system design challenges with human-centered, practical and elegant solutions based on people, business, and technical considerations.
• Experience in leading cross functional teams
• Have a background in disciplines such as Interaction Design, UX or Service Design and work experience from ideally a mix of in-house and consultancies/service design agencies.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• An online portfolio or documented work of excellence within your field.
