We are looking for an Expansion Manager who will be responsible for our store portfolio across the Nordic countries.
With our Scandinavian Head Office as base, you will be responsible for the development of a suitable and profitable store portfolio in Denmark and Sweden with reference to our Managing Director for Scandinavia.
Our Head Office is based in the heart of Copenhagen. We are a group of dedicated employees, both Danish and Swedish, working in a positive environment, where we focus on job satisfaction and work happiness while supporting our stores.
Tasks:
• Create and update the expansion plan for the respective countries.
• Select and evaluate potential new locations and calculate their profitability.
• Networking with relevant partners, i.e. center managers, landlords and estate agents.
• Ongoing monitoring and estimation of retail and branch business (especially for shoe retail).
• Administration, renegotiation and termination of lease contracts.
Personal profile:
• Motivated and goal oriented.
• An open teamplayer.
• Confident, yet considered character.
• Methodical with a detail oriented work ethic.
• Appreciative of the cultural differences in the Nordic area.
Experience:
• Minimum 5-7 years experience with the retail property market in DK / SE.
• Ideally experience from both landlord / developer as well as retailer.
• Sound knowledge of lease contracts.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to critically analyse financial models.
• Experience in fashion / shoe retail is an advantage.
Language:
• Business level in English and Danish / Swedish.
• Spoken German is an advantage.
We expect you to commit to travel within the region 2-3 days a week in average.
