Purpose of Job: As the Expansion Manager, your role significantly contributes to IKEA's growth and expansion strategy. You will maximize our presence in all markets, ensuring operational excellence, and driving profitable growth while enhancing the customer and co-worker experience.
Assignments: Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
Developing the strategic roadmap for the Expansion Retail Area, aligning it with IKEA's development agenda and collaborating with other Retail Areas.
Ensuring end-to-end business continuity and operational excellence within the Retail Area, adopting a holistic IKEA Retail and value chain approach.
Collaborating with stakeholders to optimize customer and co-worker experiences, fostering profitable growth, and creating a positive impact.
Integrating omnichannel strategies within the Retail Area, ensuring seamless digital and service elements while aligning with the overall IKEA business.
Leading and nurturing a high-performing team, aligning with IKEA values and contributing to Retail Management and steering groups to support broader business objectives.
Knowledge Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following expertise:
Strong knowledge of retail expansion.
Extensive business acumen and understanding.
Deep familiarity with the IKEA value chain and Retail operations.
Exceptional understanding of consumer, customer, and co-worker needs throughout the shopping experience.
Expertise in developing and optimizing omnichannel customer experiences.
Proficiency in change management and leading in the unknown.
Understanding of financial drivers affecting profitability.
Ability to leverage and insights to achieve organizational objectives.
