We are looking for you with experience from leading and managing business in a global context, managing cross functional teams in a multinational organization. As a person, you are passionate about continuous improvement and development of business as well as strong in creating trustful relations.
To be successful in your role you need to have the following background:
• You have a university degree or corresponding.
• You have 5+ years of experience from leading business in an international organisation, preferable within the area of procurement.
• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• You are driven and passionate about improvements.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
To meet the needs of our customers, Ingka is expanding with several new Customer Meeting Points in our prioritized cities. These customer meeting points has short establishment timelines and consists of newly developed concepts and formats, which put new demands on the products and services provided by our supplier base and the way we work with procurement. To deliver to the expansion agenda in the best way, procurement needs to continuously improve the ability to provide cost efficient and relevant solutions as well as sustainable suppliers, all within short timeframes.
In the role as expansion leader you shall lead the work related to Ingka expansion across the procurement organization. The assignment is both about keeping track of how procurement delivers to ongoing expansion projects, as well as ensuring that we continuously improve our ways of working, to deliver cost efficient, relevant and speedy solutions meeting the expansion needs. This work is done together with category managers, country procurement managers and equipment business representatives, as well as together with relevant parties across Ingka. The expansion leader will team up with the Business intelligence for expansion within procurement.
Important tasks of your role is to:
• Inform and prepare the procurement organization of upcoming expansion plans and projects.
• Ensure early involvement of procurement in expansion projects.
• Follow up overall procurement deliverables in ongoing expansion projects and ensure actions on deviations.
• Facilitate evolvement on cost efficient range and standardization for expansion needs.
• Drive opportunities to shorten timelines to meet new demands on speed across categories.
• Drive and facilitate procurement input to format briefs (ie standardized range per customer meeting point).
• Take part in cost analysis of expansion projects - to follow up and continuously improve procurement related cost and savings.
• Ensure the overall delivery to a profitable expansion, bringing savings and innovative solutions from procurement.
• Drive procurement integration to expansion process, together with relevant parties within Ingka.
• Represent procurement in various expansion forums.
