Description:
Builds and maintains effective long term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues by achieving sales targets. Serves as the primary interface for all products and services, and creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers. Typically have a limited number of key/strategic accounts and maintains relationships with clients at the senior management or executive level. Overseeing both Product Portfolio, Global Sales, Client Success and project delivery within the MIT space. Part of Nasdaq's Executive Leadership Team
Responsibilities:
Establishes long-term relationships with multiple C-suite teams as highly respected "guru" in the industry.
Brings strategic oversight to Nasdaq's short- and long-term strategy, proactively working with client teams to understand and address economic or industry threats or opportunities.
Oversees an entire Sales Team within the specific territory, ensuring the appropriate match of sales capabilities with client needs
Creates demand for the organization's products and services in the marketplace by raising their profile with customers, exerting expertise as an industry leader, and promoting successful implementations of Nasdaq products and services.
Introduces new Nasdaq experts to client leaders, linking senior leaders with their counterparts in target accounts to enable technical/new product development discussions and enable sales conversations.
Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account.
Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
Drives new product development within Nasdaq, encouraging the application of innovation and creativity to business strategy and marketplace demands.
Bring back information from regional business development to present this to the internal Nasdaq organization for the assistance of Nasdaq's product development team/s.
Grows the Sales Executive job family by mentoring other Sales Executives or by organizing activities for other Sales Executives to enhance their skills and experience.
Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for members of staff within his/her organization, and taking necessary measures to ensure compliance with applicable work safety and work environment regulations and any applicable Nasdaq policies.

Education, Professional Accomplishments, and Certifications:
Education Required: MBA, MSc or similar qualification.
Experience Required: At least 15 years, C-suite experience in leading sales and technology execution within Market Infrastructure. Product are trading, clearing, risk, CSD etc.
Leadership: With years of experience in leading global technology, sales organizations in a highly complex and dynamic landscape.
Special Qualifications: Relevant professional memberships. Specialized certifications in business strategy, account management or new product development.
