We are now looking for an Executive Lounge Manager to join our Arlanda team.
Based in Stockholm Arlanda Airport, you will be operating in a high-paced multinational environment and be responsible for the day to day to running of our Lounges. Your role will be to ensure that all customers have a first class experience and to drive business growth. This is a hands on role where the expectation is that you lead from the front and are visible in both lounges during the course of your work day.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Responsible for the oversight and supervision of Menzies lounges by actively managing suppliers to ensure overall operations run smoothly and efficiently whilst conforming to safety, security and audit requirements. Moreover, ensure that inventory, service standards and quality are upheld to achieve an exceptional overall customer experience
Coaching and empowering the team by creating an environment where constant improvement is actively encouraged and recognized. Identify learning opportunities for the team to ensure appropriate training and development procedures are in place
Demonstrate leadership and lead by example in accordance with Menzies core values
Assure highest quality standards in regards to all aspects of the lounge experience for customers, and showcase the hospitality and care that makes Menzies unique
Ensure an efficient use of financial and material resources, and work closely with Planning department to assure efficient staffing of the lounges
Identify operational requirements and management of suppliers
Work closely with Commercial team and Station Manager to increase customer portfolio
Develop the current lounge product by continually striving to improve what we do, and making Menzies Lounges the first choice for all passengers in Arlanda
Ensure that all local food safety and hygiene laws are observed and followed
Participate in team objectives and relevant projects at the station
Undertake other reasonable duties, as and when deemed necessary
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years experience of restaurant or hotel management
Catering and hospitality expertise
This is a hands on role. Your initial focus will be to be involved in the daily operations, and then over time to develop the product offering
Proven manager experience
Financially and commercially astute
Fluent both in spoken and written Swedish and English
Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with both the internal and external stakeholders
A positive and flexible attitude
Ability to use initiative and to work independently in a busy environment
Under the Airport Security Act we conduct background record checks on all employees.
Working Hours: Full time
Duration: Permanent (with 6 months' probation)
Start: As per agreement
