GVA is growing rapidly and as a result we are now seeking an analytical strategic MANAGER, ACCOUNTING & FINANCE who should not only be highly skilled in all A&F areas but also a natural leader.
The Ideal Candidate should not only have a strong desire to work for GVA and within the offshore industry but also possess the following skills and competencies:
• Masters Degree in Accounting, 10 years of experience in senior-level accounting position. A CPA is required.
• Experience in financial planning and execution. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including local GAAP, US GAAP and SOX.
• Knowledge of both US and Swedish accounting standards.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports, statements, and financial projections.
• Extensive accounting, reporting and finance experience working with a multinational corporation managing complex intercompany relationships.
• SAP systems experience, thorough understanding of financial accounting and internal control frameworks, IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards as well as SEC disclosure reporting requirements and exposure to a matrix reporting environment.
• Proven track record of effectively leading, managing, engaging and influencing multicultural teams at a senior level, preferably in an international environment.
• Demonstarted éxperience in establishing and implementing short- and long-term accounting & finance departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in accordance with corporate direction.
• Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in English. Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
