On behalf of our client, a large fashion company, we are now looking for a chemical specialist for a temporary assignment. The assignment which is full-time will start as soon as possible and have the duration of one three month, with the possibility of prolongation. Publiceringsdatum2015-01-02Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a chemical specialist within food contact and/or accessories your placement will be the Global Product Compliance Department. In the role you will have close contact with the production offices. You will be a part of a team consisting of other specialists within i.e. chemistry, labelling and product safety.
The Global Product Compliance Department is responsible for setting requirements for our clients consumer products according to legislation. This includes product safety, labelling, chemical and physical test methods. The responsibility also includes setting routines for and coordinating stopped orders as well as act on product inquiries.
The main responsibilities of the role:
• research chemical related standards and requirements valid for food contact products or accessories
• support the Supply Chain organisation on chemical related standards and requirements
• evaluate current chemical issues and incidents and identify weak points to be improved
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We are looking for you, who:
• have a university degree in chemistry or equivalent
• have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
• have good knowledge of different materials within food contact or accessories
• are used to search for and evaluate information from different sources
• have the ability to read and evaluate standards, legislation and newsletters from external parties
• are a good communicator and has great networking skills
• hold excellent written and verbal skills in English
• are structured and organized
• are a team player
