hela Sverige Collaboration Services & Malware department within Site Gothenburg is responsible for the development, maintenance and finance of products running on the Windows platform. The group consists of 20 people working with various Windows Products.
To stay at the cutting edge and meet our customers' high demands we need to strengthen our team with a highly motivated MS Exchange server technician.
About the job
You will be part of the Global Exchange team. The team works globally with customers within the Volvo Group as well as with companies that outsource to Volvo IT. Our current environment includes Exchange Server version 2007 and 2010. Volvo IT has very large Exchange installations and we are in the forefront in our use of the latest technology as well as keeping high service availability.
In 2012/2013 we will see exciting developments, with new customers and challenging opportunities.
We are looking for a positive and service minded person who is highly motivated to work in a Global Exchange team. The work includes scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, product configuration, testing, deployment and quality assurance. Weekend and evening work is part of the job but the normal working hours are between 08:00-17:00
Qualifications and skills required
For this position, we need a person with good experience in the IT field.
• Knowledge in the Exchange infrastructure will be seen as an advantage
• Experience in the Windows platform or equal
• PowerShell and scripting experience is considered an additional valuable qualification
• Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural organization
• Strong customer focus
• Very good communication and documentation skills
• Well organized, with an eye for details
• Very good ability to keep many tasks in the loop
• Very good ability to collaborate in teams as well as being an independent driving force
• Good written and spoken English and Swedish
