About the job
We are looking for a talented event marketing manager to join our European marketing team. This role will be the creative lead behind all our online and offline events for our prospects, partners and customers. Primary focuses include execution of an annual plan and ensuring event success.
You will fit right in with our team if you are a highly organized and details-oriented person, have a creative mind and a great sense of humor on top of your communications skills. You are used to working in a diverse group with a variety of personalities.
We would like you to:
• Create detailed proposals for European events, including timelines, venues, vendors, staffing, and budgets.
• Identify and secure speakers, special guests, and/or entertainment for events.
• Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan event budgets, layouts and agendas.
• Collaborate with marketing teammates to promote events
• Analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements to maximize the efficiency of our event marketing program.
We would love if you have:
• Fluent business English
• BA/BS degree
• 5 + years of working experience in a similar role.
• Experienced in project management
• Experience creating and keeping to a documented budget
• Excellent negotiator, with an instinct for great customer service.
• Experience running pre-event promotion campaigns in multiple languages, active management of events, and post-event follow up.
