Product & Quality Management is a newly built group supporting all Group Trucks brands globally. The group supports and drives development of products to support the service market worldwide. Our main deliverables are:*Developing products to enable the spare parts business for all truck brands
• Leading quality improvements in the spare parts assortment and information
• Embedded Software Integration, securing aftermarket software availability for future and existing products
Responsibilities
We are now looking for a new member to strengthen our team of ESW Integration Engineers. You will be the technical manager of the embedded software product, with the responsibility and authority to lead the necessary activities to safeguard both features and quality. These activities include continuous improvement, prioritization of software implementation and technical roadmaps for all Electrical Control Units. Main responsibility areas will be product quality, process development and line project management.
Develop and ensure the deployment of quality roadmap for ESW product, by securing the voice of the customer
• Ensure quality assurance of ESW deliveries in future and existing products
• Detect customer quality issues, perform systematic Root Cause Analysis, identify and implement solving actions
Be the Business Process Developer for ESW*Drive and improve the existing processes, develop and maintain related documentation
• Improve collaboration with stakeholders and interfaces ((for example Product Development , Diagnostic Engineering)
• Improve way of working in order to remove waste and operate more lean (introduce and coordinate agile way of working)
Secure ESW team's project deliveries*Prioritizes product backlog and is the quality gate keeper of the product
• Act as Global ESW Coordinator for one node; handle projects, QJs and Argus cases for the specific node

The Product and Quality Management group is part of Aftermarket Technology, a global function providing aftermarket support to AB Volvo's truck brands and business areas. Our mission is to make sure vehicles can be easily serviced and maintained. We achieve this by developing technologies for the service market and by setting requirements for optimized maintainability and business development. We are also leading aftermarket deliveries in projects, which positions AMT in a unique career spot: an engineering organization in close relationship to the Aftermarket business and strong connections to logistics. Our main deliverables are customized service planning, diagnostics and repair/service methods supported by the corresponding spare parts assortment and information.

Qualifications
• Master of Science in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Experience from EWS development
• Good knowledge of Software Architecture
• Knowledge of Aftermarkets business is meritorious
• Previous experience of the Volvo systems as KOLA, Configurator and GLOPPS is a merit
• Experience of software quality assurance is an advantage
• Fluent in English, verbally and written
