Your Role
You will be responsible for development and compilation of all operational aspects of new bids. This includes tasks within the process of preparing Operations Bid Material such as; defining scope to be estimated, start up the estimating process and perform all necessary reviews. The responsibility is also to put together the complete end result such as; descriptions, risks/opportunities, time schedules and estimates, to be delivered to the commercial department to form the basis for a proposal.
The role includes a high degree of interaction with various parties, such as commercial management, product management, program management, development-and product organization together with other Saab business areas.
Your Profile
Your background can either be within engineering or finance and with an interest of both sides of the operations; product and business.
You will have an interest in leadership and the ability to engage a team in a common task and carry it out according to the defined prerequisites.
You have a good understanding of the products within Aeronautics product portfolio and a great interest in our business.
You need to have a verified great ability to cooperate with a large number of different parts of the organization in a structured and pragmatic way.
What you will be a part of
Estimate & Resource Management is a part of the Project Management Office within Governance & Management Support at Aeronautics. Project Management Office has the responsibility to provide material, analysis and services crucial for the successful management of the business area.
Estimating & Resource Management are responsible for developing and compiling the operational aspects of new businesses, with focus on cost estimation. The department also has the responsibility for overall short- and long-term resource- and competence analysis.
We have a diversity in experience and gender at the department and have a great cooperative climate. Even if the worktasks are individual and require the ability to manage oneself, a supportive hand or good advice from an experienced colleague is never far away.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
