In this role you need to have experience from Project Management, Retail build up in multiple countries or equivalent and preferably IKEA store experience. You also have experience from implementation and working on sites with retail build up. Furthermore, you are experienced in creating action and resource planning and you have multicultural experience.
You have knowledge in:
• Retail Establishment in multiple countries, and specifically in the part retail build up and fit out.
• the IKEA retailing concept and IKEA range presentation (preferably)
• project management
• project planning and phasing to secure most efficient implementation
• creating and implementing change initiatives and manage stakeholders
As a person you are able to create efficient time plans, making optimal use of time and resources as well as to prioritize work. You understand customer needs in order to challenge common ways. You work and perform with flexibility and simplicity and you are appreciated for communicating and presenting clearly within your specific area of expertise.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Retail Establishment Specialist you will be responsible for creating the implementation planning for the new Retail units together with the countries. You are responsible to share learnings and constantly challenge and coach to find optimized solutions together leading to high quality and speed. You will also support the market organisation during the execution phase of the project. Together with the team in Group Expansion/ Central planning hub (CPH) you contribute to always develop our ways of working.
You will:
• participate in the project team and be responsible for creating implementation planning of Retail units solutions
• work closely with Planning Project leader (CPH) when it comes to project planning in general
• work closely with Retail solution planning team and Procurement Demand specialist (CPH) to secure prerequisites for efficient implementation
• collaborate with the market organisation on the Retail Fitout & Build-up tendering process for external service suppliers to optimise cost and quality for the project
• contribute with input for creating resource planning for the establishment of the Retail units
• collaborate with the market organisation on the project implementation phases and resource planning
• support the market organisation during the establishment of the Retail units
• support several projects in parallel
• support market with relevant financial inputs for the Investment Request
• work across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
• drive an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
In this role you will report to the Planning Project Manager. This role is located in Malmö.
