hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Gapwaves AB i Göteborg OTA-aided design and characterization of distributed massive MIMO antennas for the mmW: The candidate will be devoted to developing an indoor distributed antenna system based on the massive MIMO concept at mmW. Moreover the candidate will compare various design solutions for indoor coverage systems with impact of user 's body, i.e., LOS obstruction.
As part of this project, the candidate will enrol in a PhD program at the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
Master Degree or equivalent
1) MSc degree in electromagnetics, electronics, communications or computer science.
2) Skills at Matlab programming and CST electromagnetic modelling.
3) Knowledge on antenna design principles and radio propagation modelling.
We are part of an EU-project called Marie Curie ITN and we are looking for a researcher for an ESR/PhD Position in WAVECOMBE. All researchers recruited in an ITN must be Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs). Researchers can be of any nationality. Applicants have to ensure compliance with the Marie-Curie mobility requirement: At the time of recruitment, the applicant must have resided or carried out their main activity outside of the country of the institution for more than 24 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment.
For instance, when applying for a position at Gapwaves in Sweden with a starting date of April 1st, 2018, the applicant must not have lived in Sweden for more than one year since April 1st, 2015. Short stays, such as holidays, are not taken into account.
Research track of records will be considered as additional merits, although this is not a required skill.
