About the role
In this role your main responsibility the first year is to build and evolve an outstanding agenda for our Esports arena. You design, create and execute epic gaming events both at the arena as well as online. By creating a venue for Esport you are building a strong platform for partners and you will be the matchmaker for Space and the world of Esport. You will define long-term strategies and collaborations with Esports organizations, business partners, communities, brands and profiles from all around the world.
Through social presence and marketing activities you drive engagement and establish Space in the Esports community. The goal is to create the national arena for Esports in northern Europe and you strive to develop groundbreaking concepts to take Esports to the next level.
When we open the doors to Space your responsibilities will also include to add music concerts and events on the arena agenda. You will be the key player in filling the arena with epic events, build relationships with partners, and successfully coordinate all activities in the arena. You will be working closely with Program & Event manager in the group.
Even though you aim for space, you also strive to create an intimate atmosphere in the arena and know that magic happens when people connect with each other. Working with inclusivity is a natural part of the job and you strive to create a community defined by diversity.
Together with your arena squad you develop business opportunities, maximizing revenue, profitability, and growth targets in line with corporate strategies. You conceptualize and package ticketing and products for the arena.
Requirements
• Deep knowledge of the Esports industry
• Understanding of the components of online and offline tournaments
• Proven track record of driving complex projects with successful stakeholder management
• Commercial understanding and deal execution experience
• Relevant network within the Esport community and music industry
• Understanding of broadcasting and streaming
• Fluency in Swedish and English
The role is a full-time employment starting with a probation period of six months. You will report to the Managing Director of Space. You can send your application in either Swedish or English.
