Our science based targets requires an accelerated roll-out of electric vehicles. The E-mobility Analytics team is developing new tools and methods to advance EV sales. The team is also Scania's customer analytics advisory creating a benchmark in the industry, leveraging connected vehicle data to aid customers to go full electric. To be successful, we believe in iterative development process in close cooperation with our customers while taking advantage of cross functional collaboration within Scania.
Work description
In this role you will help build the center of excellence within electric vehicle solutions, you will help understand electric vehicle operational data, gain insight in to battery performance and charging in order to deliver customer value and support our Business Units together with the rest of the E-mobility team.
Tasks include
• Draft and develop prototype tools, methods and systems needed to accelerate roll out of electric vehicles together with the team.
• Act as an expert user and provide input to development teams, identify flaws and define the necessary improvements for future EV sales tools.
• Use the internal knowledge and leverage operational data to provide advice for electrified solutions connected to strategic customer
Your profile
We are looking for a curious self-starter who likes to work with both technology and business development close to customers in a high paced environment. You have an open mind and enjoy building things in a context where the road forward is not always clear. You have a technical university degree and 2+ years experience from working with product development within mechanical, software and/or electrical engineering. Knowledge about electric powertrains and data analysis is meriting. Experience in working with SQL, Matlab, Python and/or APIs (REST/SOAP) is also meriting. Lastly it is important that you master English with high proficiency since communication skills are important for the role.
