Jord is a Swedish company, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Stockholm.
Jord's mission is to balance the carbon cycle and deliver renewable products. The company is revolutionizing the procurement and production of fuel pellets by using C4 grasses as the main raw material, focusing on creating a CO2e-negative fuel.
Our holistic approach not only produces renewable solid biofuels but also removes thousands of tons of CO2 from the atmosphere and stores it back in the soil, effectively restoring the natural carbon cycle. Jord's unique process addresses three challenges simultaneously:
Regenerating marginal land
Replacing fossil fuels with renewable solid biofuels
Removing CO2 from the atmosphere
